A downloadable game

Hello! It's LeMont here

(skip to the "The story" paragraph if you just want to know what the project is about)

... uhm... Well, I used to write story concepts some years ago, when I was still in university. One of those got stuck in my head more than others, though I never really completed it because I've been suffering from depression, dropped out of uni and I've been surving each day waiting for something that would never come. I've played video games most of the time to distract myself untill it was time to sleep. I still do this sometimes, but thanks to an interview with a modeling agency, I understood. The interviewer said something that piqued my interest, and kinda gave me motivation, about me needing an outlet for my feelings, be it acting for an advertisement, painting or whatever. After reflecting on their job proposal, I decided to pick up again my story telling stuff and I thought about a specific one.

The story:

A young guy named Ankou has been confronted with the harsh reality: he's ill - and that illness will take his life in about 5 months.

Sadly, there's no cure for it since it's an extremely rare disease.

Having just so little time left to live and consumed by fear and a sense of defeat, he closes in himself, slowly cutting out everyone from his life. He repeats himself that that's the right thing to do, to not let his loved ones suffer, but deep down he knows there's also a bit of envy thowards them, who, even if they'll be heartbroken for some time, they'll still have the privilege to live on.

One day though, while being on his way back from university, a sudden burst of energy hits Earth, disabling almost every electronic system for a couple minutes.

The switch system for the railroads isn't spared and, with great misfortune, two trains end up crashing face first onto eachother. On one of the trains, as you can imagine, there's our protagonist.

In this game you'll cling to life, find hope and feel doomed. You'll have to uncover mysteries and try to save the people you love, ultimately walking thowards acceptance.

Afterword

As I said, it's still in development stage. I hope to be able to release the first chapter in a couple weeks, which means my other project will be slowed down, if not entirely put on hold.

The art won't be a problem, because I want it to be simple, with no character design etc. (mainly just backgrounds).

If you want to read any updates about this game - or the other one - follow either me on here or Twitter.

Thanks for reading till now btw, see ya!
